7ft
tree upstream of rookies made it awsome primo was huge and fast, great for carving around, easy getting on and off

march 25
9.5 ft
rookies a good little surf spot, no foam? Primo a wash out, salmon a wash out cobble stone was exceletn according to herm, had to stay river right to be on a wave, it chugged you away from shore into a flatter part of the wave wher eyou had to paddle like hell to make ot to the far part of cobblestone which was a semi steep wave

April 20
about 5.8 ft
rookies made a great 360 place, i did at least 20 360's and linked together 3 cobblestone was recycling for a few feet, primo washed out, block house, a really long nice wave, a little short for me. Salom no good, the best by far was rookies.

May 9th
about 8.5
didn't go to blockhouse, the mud on the banks was pretty solid after a steep drop in level. Rookies was nice to surf, more foam as the level dropped, no 360's. Cobblestone was one big wave, towards the shore it was nice but a little bit further it looked mean, but playable. Primo was washing back a little bit, about 5 feet wide, you could throw 360's fast in there, awsome day.

10.2
blockhouse had a pretty fun wave higher on the rapid RR which you could surf across to a long wave which i tried once but failed to surf pretty fast. rookies was very very easy but little. just a little pretty flat wave. Cobblestone had a little wave you could surf out but there was a secondary wave maybe 15 feet out which was pretty good easy to stay in a lot of fun really.

aug 3rd
7.2-7.3
blockhouse was relaly fun the top wave wasnt there but the normal wave was great i even got a 360 on it. Rookies had foam and was pretty easy, the longer the boat the better it seemed, probally about 3 foot deep there. PRimo was awsome a 5-6 foot high wave that sometimes had foam, really steep and easy to carve on, better to have a short boat. Cobblestone ??

august 9th
8.5
blockhouse was fun agian you could throw 360's, rookies had a little bit of foam, still too high. Primo was good it had some foam pretty easy to do 360's but cobblestone in my skip, probally 4 360's in a run carving back and forth even a cool new move for me.

august 10th
just under 8.5
blockhouse was fun, you could pull 360's in the foam pile. Harder to get into then the previous day. Rookies was really easy to carve back and forth, just enough foam to spin on it. Cobblestone was meaner then the day before, really hard not to get stuck sideways and get bounced around. I pulled some mystery rodeo roll on a vertical axis (ask dan hiebert) primo was not too big, it had a little bit of foam, enough to spin on. Another great day on the river. I LOVE MY SKIP.

August 12
6.2
blockhouse was too shallow for my liking, not too much fun or worth staying at. Rookies I leanred how to look backwards when I’m finishing a 360, I got the hang of it and eventually linked 3 or so in one ride. Primo was kinda flat nothing good there couldn’t ride it at all with my skip. Cobblestone was mean…really mean this time. I threw multiple sticks about 5 feet long into it and they recycled for 20 or so seconds. It’s the smily face kinda rapid today, or is that frowny face? Which ever Is the bad one and right in back of the hole there’s an eddy pushing you right back into it. Also to either side the hole went about 4 feet upstream and it was very steep, if your in it it would be very hard to get out.

August 15, 2004
3.1-3.0
Blockhouse the part that usually looks mean was really fun, you could spin and it was just a great little spot. Rookies was good too, spinning very possible and there was an eddy behind it to paddle back into the hole. Primo was glassy and not too big but it was shallow so near impossible to get in. Cobblestone was looking really good, liam hopped in and was in there for like 2 minutes. There was an eddy to paddle back up right after the hole but no eddy along the shore. It looked very nice. There was a hole about 20-30 feet below cobblestone, sticky beware. Looked at salmon and it looked a little bit shallow, but what do I know.

Aug 21st
3.75
Blockhouse was pretty good again, the shallow part which you could side surf was longer but you need a shorter boat for it. Rookies good for spinning etc, no eddy behind it, good eddie service, the hole was foam towards shore and glassier out further, you could backsurf a little away from shore. Cobblestone looked really nice but I hit a rock going in sideways which flipped me. Salmon was really cool, first time doing it. Lots o foam, linked maybe 3 clean! 360’s shorter the boat the better for it. Gordon’s hole was pretty good, easy to backsurf, maybe 2-3 feet deep. Liams hole was godo to go into sideways, not sticky a slanted wave though. Trolls was huge, 10-15 foot high waves, if you could surf them (trying tomorrow) you could get some serious air.

Aug 22
3.4
Blockhouse was better, again the side surf part was a lot of fun, the “sticky” part at higher levels was starting to form a good hole, needs to be another half foot lower though. Rookies was good, little eddy behind it and pretty easy to spin. Cobblestone was really nice, small eddy behind it and none on shore but it’s a good one time ride. Liams hole was really fun. Gordons hole you could spin in but it needs to be a little lower yet. The glassy wave at the opening of punk kids-herm stayed in it for about 10 minutes. Salmon was fun, needs to be higher, it was really fast, a break in the foam in the middle of the wave. Blastable. The leprechauns were big, but not as big as yesterday, maybe 8-10 feet at most-you cannot surf them, the water is moving too fast

Sept. 25
8.0-.1
blockhouse had a nice glassy wave to surf, pretty easy. Rookies was acting weird, it was a glass wave when we were expecting foam and spinning. Cobblestone looked pretty good, if someone beside herm were there to hop in with me I would have. Primo was primo, lots of foam, I had 2 loops, a great backsurf 360’s and everything.

Sept 24
7.8-.9
blockhouse was a little bit better, if you timed it right you could spin backwards. Cobblestone again looked really good, with an easy exit on the boater right side of the hole. Primo was once again primo, a little bit harder to spin, harder to loop because it wasn’t as steep but easier to backsurf, another awesome day.

Oct. 6th
just under 3.25
tons of logs jammed around blockhouse, it was ok. The foamy part of blockhouse was kinda small, probally due to the trees, but you were able to spin in it. Rookies had 1 little spots of foam. The edge of oil can had a good foam pile and was small but pretty good again, watch out for the cross current. Cobblestone had a small eddy on shore side and an eddy behind the hole which was pretty good. The hole its self had a steeeeep glass part on boater left and another one boater right so pretty easy to get out of and in the middle, rprobally 10 feet wide foam and easy to spin in. The other thing tho was it was shallow, probally 5” deep if that. Punkboys, liams hole was really steep and bouncy, iif you got stuck in the mean part, your probally gonna flip. Gordons hole was a lot of fun, able to spin and backsurf but a bitc h to get up to. The level was too low for salmon.

Oct. 8th
just over 3.25
rookies seemed a little better, liams hole a little friendlier, cobblestone I dunno, rookies better and yea pretty much everything else was the same.

Oct 9th
3.4
blockhouse formed while you were in it, still messed up because of trees. Rookies was fun, deeper and better over all. Cobblestone looked flatter a friendlier, down side is the eddy service behind it was not as good. Post cobblestone was good for spins really friendly as usual, punk boys good, gordon’s hole was great. Salmon too shallow and that sums it up.

dynamic was awsome, tons of play holes

March 27
35"
a sticky hole on the oz over a little ledge, kittens was fun, dynamic awsome

may 16
5-7"
onlything good last wave before d bridge there was a hole that you could 360 in. cats paw had a pretty cool ferry move. big drop nothing to it

may 31
39" at start, after 4 hours 29"
SO MUCH TO PLAY ON UPPER, dynamic was again awsome awsome, kittens i beleive was pretty good too! a little shallow though, it may have been a ledge, a little higher and you could cartwheel, i tried but hit bottom a few times. Some good waves on double drop, no holes really, wave wheel possibilities. big drop was fun, worth while.

Aug 29th
20”-13”
the upper was ok, too low for the ledge hole at land of oz. Big drop was a pretty good drop, really easy though. Cats paw had a sticky hole on RR which held me for about 15-20 seconds. Double drop had a pretty good sized hole at the top and there was a good secondary wave for longer boats below the last drop. There was also a pretty good hole at rickety rack. For the most part though it was too shallow for things like kittens and dynamic and all the other little playspots on the river.

Nov. 13th
18”-21”
ON the opening rapids the dynamic hole was a little bit scarpy but it was still good enough to spin in. Kittens was a lot of fun, the upper hole on it though however wasn’t great, the lower one was good, a little deeper would have been nice for those offside ends. There was a cool little eddy move at big dropp from RR right behind the big boulder. There was a great hole at cats paw RL which I didn’t know about, tons of loops there and the wave at double drop was good. Also the wave at rickety rack was fun. At this level, I’m not sure about lower, you can slide down the side of the rock at fat mans squeeze, the last surf holes were good, but after a long day on the river I didn’t have enough energy for it.

level ?
RL hole nice but as level got lower it got messy and a little sticky, floppy wave hard to get into, never made it, great day

march 20
SMACK DOWN!
the level was way way too high, this isn't even worth describing, everything is washed out. Smackdown is a must though.

june 13

RL hole shallow and sticky, you flip you get cut up. The midle wave was nice, not sticky, i did my first loop in that hole. Not so easy to ferry out to, not too hard either.

18.4
pretty boney, a nice hole RR for side surfing and in the middle there was a hole, not that easy to get into but worth while, i got the hang of it after a while, you could spin init and such.

21.4
nice hole out in the middle and RR, but trees were stuck and debree was coming down. You had to watch out for trees and paddle into the meat to catch the wave from up top.

level, doesn't really matter, put in there's a low water bridge with more water it would make some nice falls, about a 4 foot drop. quick little current just a fun float, major sunburn for me!
