I speak for myself, and maybe a lot of others, when I say that you are correct about us using this site as a place to post events and not as a "hang out". I like my computer and find it quite useful. However, I would much rather be on the water in my kayak.

Not much discussion happens on any of the non-whitewater boards local to IL.
